Catherine Emerson is a PhD candidate in the School of Psychology, Deakin University. Catherine’s research aims to determine the optimal psychological intervention to manage fatigue in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Catherine is passionate about improving wellbeing in patients with IBD, and hopes to continue a career contrubting to the field of psychogastroenterology research.
Outside of her studies, Catherine enjoys spending time with her friends, family and dog, cooking, reading books, exercising, and eating margharita pizza with a glass of red wine.
